Early Voting - Begins Tues., October 11th
Expanded Early Voting - Begins Sat., October 22nd
Election Day Voting - Tues., November 8th
June 30th - Filing Day for Independent, write-in, or new Political party Candidates
Mid-September - Absentee ballot request portal opens at NMVote.org. Online requests are recommended.
October 11th - Last day to register to vote online; ballots to US addresses begin mailing; in-person voting begins at the Clerk's Office during business hours.
October 22nd - Expanded early voting begins throughout the county at expanded early voting locations
Sat., November 5th - Last day of early voting.
Tu., November 8th - Election Day 7am to 7pm.
You must be a registered voter in New Mexico to participate in the 2022 General Election. New voters can register to vote until October 11th or same-day register at any open polling location.
