October 9, 2018 is an Important Day at the Bureau of Elections!

Santa Fe County Clerk, Geraldine Salazar wants all voters to take note of October 9, 2018 because it is an important day on the election calendar.  It is:

  • The last day to register to vote for the 2018 General Election.
  • The first day to vote absentee in person at the County Clerk’s Office.
  • The first day that the Bureau of Elections can send out Absentee Ballots.

If you like to multi-task, you can register to vote and vote at the County Clerk’s Office starting on October 9, 2018.  Or you can register to vote and complete an application for an absentee ballot at the same time.

The County Clerk’s Office is located in downtown Santa Fe on the corner of Palace Avenue and Grant Avenue at 102 Grant Avenue, directly across the street from Burro Alley.  The hours of business are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including the lunch hour.
