Summer Road and Don Bernardo Road Chip Seal Projects

The Santa Fe County Road Maintenance Department is scheduled to place a chip seal on Summer Road on August 26, 2020 and Don Bernardo on August 26,2020.  The project consists of repairing damaged portions of the road prior to placing a new chip seal driving surface. Road maintenance staff has begun preparation work in these areas.

In order to accommodate the construction in a safe manner it will be necessary to reduce the work zone down to one lane during working hours.  Flaggers will be controlling traffic in the work zone, please use caution.  Access for the residents in this area will be allowed at all times.

Motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists should expect minor delays and allow additional time to negotiate the work zone.
