Southwestern Santa Fe County Snow Condition Info

Recent snowstorms have caused severe/moderate travel issues in the Southwestern portion of Santa Fe County near Madrid. Travel on many private roadways has become hazardous or impossible due to significant amounts of snowfall, strong winds, freezing temperatures, and widespread drifting of roads. Santa Fe County is working to alleviate any life safety issues that may occur.

 

Santa Fe County Emergency Management is assisting individual residents in obtaining any aid they might require during this crisis including medication, food, water and ambulatory care. Any resident who needs assistance should call the Santa Fe County Emergency Management Office at (505) 992-3070.

 

Santa Fe County officials will continue to monitor the status of the snow crisis as well as the road conditions. Updates will be sent out as needed or as conditions change.
