Quality Assurance
Quality Assurance
The primary goal of the Quality Assurance Department is to continuously improve quality appraisal processes and customer service, providing oversight and support for all sections within the Office of the Santa Fe County Assessor. Guided by the agency's mission to meet and exceed the highest industry standards in appraisal, Quality Assurance develops, implements, and adheres to standardized processes in accordance with New Mexico State Statutes and IAAO "best practice" standards.
Through established policies and procedures, the Quality Assurance team collaborates with each section of the office to review systems, processes, and data related to their functions, aiming to enhance performance and efficiency. This ongoing review ensures that every constituent in Santa Fe County receives fair and equitable property valuations, as reflected in the Notice of Value mailed to each property owner.
By maintaining these high standards, the Office of the Santa Fe County Assessor is able to provide excellent customer service and establish a sustainable process that benefits the county's residents in the long term.
County Assessor Isaiah Romero values your feedback. Please consider sharing with him your experiences with the Quality Assurance division.
