Have You Entered It?
Every year, thousands of important documents—like your Notice of Value or property tax bill—are returned to the County undelivered.
Why?
Because the address on file is out of date—and once the mail is returned, it may never find its way back to you.
This isn’t fiction. It’s what happens when your address isn’t current with the Santa Fe County Assessor’s Office.
Tax bills are mailed to the property owner using the mailing address listed with the Assessor’s Office.
If you’ve moved in the last 6 months—or changed your mailing address—and didn’t notify us, your mail may be lost in the void.
Returned.
Unseen.
Unpaid.
And sometimes… unnoticed until it’s too late.
