Important Information:
New Mexico has closed partisan primaries, meaning only voters who are registered to vote with a political party are eligible to vote in that party's primary. Voters who are not registered with a political party or are registered with a minor party can use Same Day Registration to switch to a major party to vote in the respective primary election.

In Person Voting
Early Voting - Begins Tues., May 7th
Expanded Early Voting - Begins Sat., May 18th
All early voting ends Sat. June 1st. There are no open polling locations Sun June 2nd or Mon June 3rd.
Election Day Voting - Tues., June 4th

March 12th - Candidate Filing Day
March 19th - Deadline for write-in candidates to file
May 7th - Last day to register to vote online; absentee ballots to US addresses begin mailing; in-person voting begins at the Clerk's Office during business hours; Same Day Registration begins
May 18th - Expanded early voting begins throughout the county at expanded early voting locations
May 21st - Last day to request an Absentee ballot. Be advised: ballots may take up to 7 days in the mail each way.
June 1st - Last day of early voting.
June 4th - Election Day, 7am to 7pm.
