Santa Fe County Clerk’s Office Partners with League of Women Voters and Capital High to Train Students in Voter Registration

Santa Fe County, NM — The Santa Fe County Clerk’s Office, in collaboration with the League of Women Voters and Capital High School, recently held a Voter Registration Agent (VRA) training for a group of six Capital High School students. Voting Now Open in Santa Fe County “I Voted” Sticker Design Contest

SANTA FE, NM — The Santa Fe County Clerk’s Office is pleased to announce that submissions are now closed for the 2025 “I Voted” Sticker Design Contest – and now it’s the public’s turn to vote for the winners. This year, we received 57 entries from students across the county. A review panel at the Clerk’s Office selected the top 10 finalists—a difficult task given the creativity on display—to advance to a public vote.

Santa Fe County Clerk’s Office Reminds Voters to Use Official Sources for Registration; Opt-Out Available for Third-Party Mailers

Santa Fe County, NM — The Santa Fe County Clerk’s Office is aware that some residents are receiving voter-registration mailers from nonprofit civic-engagement groups, including VPC and CVI. These mailers are not scams and are not issued by any government agency. They are sent by independent nonprofits that study voter-registration patterns and conduct outreach to people they believe may need to register or update a registration.

Santa Fe County Helps Modernize NM EDGE Clerk Certification; Clerk Clark Leads Curriculum Updates as Staff Deepen Professional Training

Santa Fe County, NM — The Santa Fe County Clerk’s Office is proud to announce its role in modernizing the NM EDGE Certified County Clerk curriculum. Working with county clerks and their staff statewide, NM EDGE has updated courses to better reflect today’s clerk responsibilities, including voter file management, election logistics, public records, and project management. Clerk Katharine E. Clark spearheaded the convening of the new Clerk’s Curriculum Committee, led the redesign of the overall curriculum, taught and reworked several courses, and developed two new culminating project-management–focused classes for election planning and process improvement.

Santa Fe County Clerk’s Office Expands Southside Voter Outreach at Fourth Annual Feria Southside

The Santa Fe County Clerk’s Office joined community partners at the Fourth Annual Feria Southside to bring nonpartisan voter services directly to Southside residents ahead of the 2025 Regular Local Election. The Southside has historically seen lower voter turnout; by showing up at trusted neighborhood events, the Clerk’s team is working to remove barriers, answer questions in person, and help ensure every community’s voice is heard this election. The goal is straightforward: exceed 30% countywide turnout in 2025, with Southside participation rising along with it.
