Fair Board
The Santa Fe County Fair Board is an advisory body to the Santa Fe County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) and consists of between nine and 13 community members, serving two-year terms.
Established by Ordinance 2000-05 , the Fair Board is responsible for the promotion and development of youth, agriculture, home economics, creative art skills and similar activities of interest in Santa Fe County by holding an annual fair and such other public exhibits as determined. The Fair Board recommends other actions that it deems fit, including property and facility maintenance, development and leasing, contracting for services and acquiring equipment and facilities. Additionally, the Board establishes policies concerning management, conduct, and activities of the Fair Board.
