Constitutional Amendments
Amendment 1 — Legislative Bills & Governor Vetoes
Proposing an amendment to Article 4, Section 22 of the Constitution of New Mexico to provide that all bills passed by the legislature and not acted on by the governor will become law and to require veto messages on all bills vetoed in whole or in part by the governor.
Proponiendo una enmienda al Artículo 4, Sección 22, de la Constitución de Nuevo México disponiendo que todos los proyectos de ley aprobados por la legislatura y sobre los cuales el gobernador no tome ninguna medida se convertirán en ley, y para requerir mensajes de veto sobre todos los proyectos de ley vetados total o parcialmente por el gobernador.
Amendment 2 — School Elections
Proposing to amend Article 7, Section 1 of the Constitution of New Mexico to remove the requirement that school elections be separate from partisan elections.
Proponiendo una enmienda al Artículo 7, Sección 1, de la Constitución de Nuevo México para eliminar el requisito de que las elecciones escolares sean separadas de las elecciones partidistas.
Amendment 3 — Boards of Regents
Proposing an amendment to Article 12, Section 13 of the Constitution of New Mexico regarding the nomination and appointment process for members of boards of regents of state educational institutions.
