NOTICE OF AND AGENDA FOR SPECIAL MEETING

During its regular meeting on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, which begins at 2:00 p.m., the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) of Santa Fe County (County) will meet as the County Canvassing Board. The primary purpose of this special meeting is to canvass the election results of the March 3, 2026, City of Española’s Municipal Officer Election.

In addition to any other or different items of business that appear on the final amended agenda (if any) for the meeting, the agenda for this special meeting is as follows:

1. Call to Order.
2. Roll Call.
3. Approval of Agenda. (Action Item)
4. Request Approval of the November 14, 2025, County Canvassing Board Meeting Minutes. (Action Item)
5. Request Approval of the March 3, 2026, City of Española’s Municipal Officer Election, Pursuant to NMSA 1978, Section 1-13-13(B). (County Clerk's Office/Rosangela Ortiz) (Action Item)
6. Adjournment. (Action Item)

ATTENDANCE AND WEBCASTING

The County Canvassing Board strives to make its meetings accessible to the public through alternatives to in-person attendance, such as virtual meeting platforms and webcasting. The availability of those virtual meeting and webcasting alternatives is not guaranteed due to potential internet disruptions, equipment failures, and other technical issues. Duly noticed meetings may be held notwithstanding the unexpected unavailability of those alternatives. Members of the public assume the risk that they may be unable to participate in Canvassing Board meetings through such alternatives.
