Clerk’s Office Scores High in Report

CountyClerk’s Office SCORES HIGH IN CAL TECH/MIT REPORT
Santa Fe– August 27, 2007 – The Santa Fe County Clerk’s Office received high marks on the Cal Tech/MIT Voting Technology Report on the 2006 General Election. Teams of academic researchers visited Santa Fe, Bernalillo and Dona Ana Counties for the November General Election and surveyed Precinct Board members on the quality of their training, general preparedness and attitudes. Santa Fe County received high marks in precinct worker training, job satisfaction, confidence, quality of polling locations, and lack of problems at the polls.
