SANTA FE, N.M., Sept. 3, 2026—In recognition of the contributions of our workforce and in appreciation of those who have dedicated their careers to public service, Santa Fe County will close its administrative offices on Monday, Sept. 7 for Labor Day. All County offices will resume regular hours on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

This includes the temporary closure of all senior centers and scheduled activities on Monday. In preparation for the holiday, home-delivered meals will be provided to qualifying seniors in advance.

The Labor Day closure aligns with the normal Monday closure of our solid waste convenience centers. However, the Nambé location will be closed this Saturday, Sept. 5, because the Santa Fe County employee who normally staffs the center has been called to duty with the National Guard to support the ongoing response to the Frijoles Fire. Convenience centers will open for regular business hours beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8.
