Santa Fe, NM – Santa Fe County is reminding residents about upcoming opportunities to dispose of green waste and household waste for free at County Convenience Centers. These seasonal events help reduce wildfire risk, beautify our neighborhoods, and promote responsible waste management.
In support of community cleanliness and defensible space efforts, residents with a valid Santa Fe County Solid Waste Permit can drop off green waste free of charge at the Stanley, Jacona, and Eldorado Convenience Centers on the following dates:
- August 1–2, 2025
- September 5–6, 2025
Green waste includes yard trimmings, leaves, branches, brush, and untreated wood debris. To see the full list of accepted items, visit the Santa Fe County Convenience Center webpage.
