District 5 Resident Invited to Serve on Santa Fe County’s Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy Council
SANTA FE, NM –The Santa Fe County Economic Development Division is currently seeking a resident from District 5 to serve on the Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy (ACCE) Council. This is a unique opportunity for a community member to help guide Santa Fe County’s investment in arts, cultural preservation, and the creative economy.
The ACCE Council was established by the Santa Fe County Board of County Commissioners (Board) on December 9, 2024, via Resolution No. 2024-167. The Council is composed of eleven members, two from each Commission District and one at-large member. Appointees are expected to attend monthly meetings in-person, complete a conflict-of-interest form, and comply with the County’s Code of Conduct.
Members are selected to ensure that the ACCE Council reflects a wide range of expertise and experience in broadly recognized areas of arts, culture, and creative industries. Relevant experience may include membership in established arts and culture organizations or professional practice as an artist across any discipline. ACCE Council members must reside within the boundaries of Santa Fe County and outside the City of Santa Fe limits.
The Council’s mission is to advise County staff and consultants in developing programs and strategies that support and strengthen Santa Fe County’s arts, cultural identity and creative economy.
