SANTA FE, N.M., June 1, 2026—The Santa Fe County Eldorado Convenience Center, located at 28736 US Highway 285, in Eldorado, is undergoing improvements on the tipping floor used to collect waste. Beginning June 15, the tipping floor will be closed for resurfacing.

The Eldorado Convenience Center will remain open for its regular business hours, Tuesday through Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Guests will be directed by staff on where to dump waste at a temporary tipping floor installed onsite.

Dumping trailers will not be allowed at the temporary tipping floor, and all waste must be unloaded by hand. Customers using a trailer to haul waste must unload all materials by hand. 

The temporary closure of the tipping floor will begin on June 15 until the project is completed. For information about all Santa Fe County convenience centers, including hours, rules, and prohibited materials, visit the Convenience Center/Transfer Center webpage.
