Santa Fe County Assessor’s Office Receives National Recognition for Excellence in Assessment Administration

Santa Fe County Assessor’s Office receives IAAO CEAA recertification, Orlando, FL (2025)

The recertification was presented during a special awards ceremony at the 2025 IAAO Annual Conference, held on September 23, 2025, in Orlando, FL. The CEAA is based on a comprehensive, peer-reviewed self-assessment, highlighting their dedication to continual improvement, transparency, and professionalism.

“This recertification reaffirms our commitment to delivering fair, accurate, and accessible property assessments for all Santa Fe County property owners,” said Santa Fe County Assessor Isaiah F. Romero. “It’s not just about maintaining high standards; it’s about improving the way we serve our community every day.”

This honor follows another major recognition in 2024, when the OSFCA received the ACE Award for Excellence in Community Service from Aumentum Technologies. The award recognized the office’s innovative community outreach and engagement efforts throughout 2023–2024.

“We have an amazing team that is committed to public service,” said Chief Deputy Assessor Ivan Barry. “We’re honored to be recognized on a national level for doing work that has a direct and positive impact on a local level.”

The recertification is added to a growing list of awards for the OSFCA, including awards dating back to 2016. These awards highlight the office’s continued pursuit of excellence in both assessment and community engagement.
