Santa Fe County Issues Reminder: Report Flooding and Get Road Closure Notifications

Santa Fe, NM- Citizens are encouraged to create their Safety Profile with Alert Santa Fe today to have their information immediately available to 9-1-1 and to receive emergency notifications. Individuals who have signed up for Alert Santa Fe will receive alerts when roads are closed in their area due to localized flooding or other weather emergencies.

Alert Santa Fe is the County’s official emergency alert and notification system used to send information to the public during emergencies. Alert Santa Fe is private and secure and is only used for emergency responses.  Residents can register online to receive notifications.

Residents are encouraged to report flooding or unpassable roads and bridges to the NON-EMERGENCY Dispatch number, (505) 428-3710.  Please be patient as dispatchers often receive high call volumes during inclement weather events.

As always, please dial 9-1-1 for any emergency requiring an immediate response from law enforcement, the fire department, or emergency medical services in situations that are life-threatening or present an immediate and severe threat to property.

For more information, contact the Regional Emergency Communications Center at (505) 428-3710.
