Silver Bells: Answering the Call of our Growing Senior Population

Santa Fe, NM—As New Mexico’s population continues to age among the fastest in the nation, planning for the growing demand for health care, personal assistance, food access, and housing is critical. To prepare for this shift, Santa Fe County is launching a Senior Needs Survey to help shape the future of senior services over the next ten years.

Santa Fe County Senior Services Division is partnering with the Center for Applied Research and Analysis (CARA) at the University of New Mexico to conduct this critical study. The results will guide service planning and the essential development of programming, which is most desired and needed by the seniors in our community.

Who Can Participate?

If you are 50 or older—or 18 and older and a caregiver for someone 50 or older in Santa Fe County—you are strongly encouraged to take the survey.

How to Participate

The survey is open TODAY through April 25 and is available online at: Google Forms

You can also take the survey on paper in English and Spanish at your local participating senior center.
