“Take A Ride on Us” Program Offers Santa Fe County Residents a Safe Ride Option St. Patrick’s Day 2024

Santa Fe, NM – Cumulus Media Albuquerque, in collaboration with the Bernalillo County Department of Behavioral Health Services, Sandoval County DWI Prevention, Santa Fe County Community Services Department, Glasheen Valles and Inderman Injury Lawyers, and the New Mexico Department of Transportation today announced details for a safe ride option for 2024 St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. “Take A Ride on Us” empowers Bernalillo, Sandoval County, and Santa Fe County residents with the choice to take a safe ride option instead of driving under the influence during St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in which alcohol consumption is common.

Rather than drive under the influence, from 10 am on March 15th, through 2 am on March 18th, Bernalillo, Sandoval, and Santa Fe County residents can open the Uber app and under VOUCHERS, add the code ABQGREEN24 to receive a credit of up to $10 off two trips. The maximum number of trips available is 1500. The credit can only be used for rides, not Uber Eats, and the discount does not cover tip.

Cumulus Media Albuquerque instituted "Take A Ride on Us," and the program has achieved remarkable success through the collaborative efforts of Bernalillo County, Sandoval County, Santa Fe County, Glasheen Valles and Inderman Injury Lawyers, and ENDWI. Throughout the St. Patrick's Day weekend, listeners will receive timely reminders about the code on eD FM, Magic 99-5, 95.9 FM/610 AM The Sports Animal, and 94.5 The Pit. Since its inception in the summer of 2017, "Take A Ride on Us" has delivered a secure ride option to over 38,000 riders in the Albuquerque Metro area.
