Contact: Rosalie Cardenas, HR Officer/Admin. Assistant 424-1850, ext. 150

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the Santa Fe Solid Waste Management Agency announces the
cancellation of all Free Amnesty Days scheduled in April at the Buckman Road Recycling &
Transfer Station (BuRRT).

Canceled Events
Green Waste Amnesty Weekend – April 4 & 5
Scrap Tire Amnesty Weekend – April 4 & 5
Free Trash Day – Saturday, April 18

Also, the reduced hours at BuRRT will remain in effect until further notice. BuRRT will be open
from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, seven days a week. To stop the spread of COVID-19, customers must
limit themselves to one load per day.

We request that customers who are sick do not use BuRRT. Customers should protect themselves
when using BuRRT by maintaining the recommended 6-foot social distance to reduce coronavirus
transmission risks. The Agency has directed its staff to limit hand-to-hand and other close
interactions with customers.
