Alcalde Road Drainage Improvements

The Santa Fe County Road Maintenance Department is scheduled to begin drainage improvements on Alcalde Road on August 31, 2020. The project consists of re-establishing roadside ditches, placing new culverts and widening the road to accommodate the drainage improvements. A small portion of Alcalde Loop will also receive drainage improvements between Alcalde Road and Encantando Road.
In order to accommodate the construction in a safe manner it will be necessary to reduce the work zone down to one lane during working hours. Flaggers will be controlling traffic in the work zone, please use caution. Access for the residents in this area will be allowed at all times.
Motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists should expect minor delays and allow additional time to negotiate the work zone.
