Santa Fe County administrative offices will close at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, and remain closed on Thursday, January 1, 2026, in observance of the New Year’s holiday.
Regular business hours will resume on Friday, January 2, 2026. All Solid Waste Convenience Centers will be closed. All Senior Centers will be closed and activities canceled. Extra home-delivered meals will be provided in advance to eligible seniors. Public Safety essential services will remain uninterrupted

Suspect: Antonio Loya    Age  30

On Thursday, February 23, 2023 deputies located a wanted male with outstanding warrants for his arrest.  Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle but the vehicle fled into a vacant field and the suspect fled on foot.  A warrant was issued for his arrest.
