Per Resolution 2013-13, the Transportation Advisory Committee was established on January 20, 2015.
The Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) has a total of 13 members with two members from each County District and three at-large members. Members are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners (BCC).
The primary purpose of the TAC is to review and make recommendations to the BCC on all elements of transportation, including roadways, trails, bikeways, transit, and pedestrian facilities. The TAC also makes recommendations on safety studies, road operations, and maintenance policies, including the road acceptance/vacation process.
