Three or More County Commissioners May Attend the
WIPP Community Forum & Open House Public Meeting
Three or more County Commissioners may attend an in-person and virtual public meeting hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Carlsbad Field Office (CBFO) and Nuclear Waste Partnership LLC (NWP) on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe Convention Center, O’Keefe & Milagro Rooms, 201 West Marcy St., Santa Fe, NM 87501 and virtually via Zoom.
The purpose of this meeting is NOT to formulate public policy or take any action within the authority of the Board of County Commissioners. Rather, the purpose of this public meeting is for the public to receive a project update on and ask questions about the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant.
