Costly Information Technology Equipment Missing From Santa Fe County Storage Facility
Santa Fe – March 5, 2007 – While doing inventory last week, it was discovered that thousands of
dollars worth of Information Technology equipment was missing from a Santa Fe County storage
area. “We’re very concerned” said Santa Fe County Manager Roman Abeyta “We immediately
contacted law enforcement when we discovered the items were missing. They are conducting an
investigation – this is very valuable equipment. “
The IT equipment, a switch and a router, were received in late December and were in storage. They
were part of an IT systems upgrade at the Santa Fe County administration building.
