Stay Lucky: Take Free Ride Home on St. Patrick\‘s Day

The Santa Fe County DWI Program is partnering with Premier Distributing, the Underage Drinking Alliance and the Green Onion on St. Patrick’s Day.  Free O’Doul’s will be provided to designated drivers that day at the Green Onion and people taking the CADDy  (Chauffer and Designated Driver) from the Green Onion to their homeswill be able to ride for free.  For more information, call 995-9528.

Santa Fe County implemented the CADDy (Chauffer and Designated Driver) Programin June of 2007.  It provides safe transportation via Capital City Cab to adults from a residence to any location or from any location to a residence within the Santa Fe City limits for a nominal fee. The service runs Friday and Saturday nights from 5:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. and costs $5 for 1-2 people or $10 for 3 or more.  The cabs operate outside the city limits however the rider is responsible for the cost from the city limit to the rider’s destination.
