IPRA REQUESTS

1. The computer-aided dispatch record number;
2. The police report number;
3. The date or date range with reasonable specificity and at least one of the following:
   • The  name of a law enforcement officer or first responder;
   • The approximate time; or
   • The approximate location; or
4. Other criteria established and published by a law enforcement agency to facilitate access to videos.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Service of Process is $40.00 per person, per service without an Order of Free Process signed by a Judge

Filing of Restraining Orders (TROs) can be processed at either 35 Camino Justicia or 225 Montezuma Avenue, Santa Fe.

Unhoused persons will not be served without a physical address

Only original paperwork will be accepted. Copies or documents that have been altered in any way will not be accepted. Notation of alternate address, telephone number, etc. must be provided on a separate sheet of paper, (do not write on the original document).

Civil Standby requests (15-minute max) must be phoned in to the Sheriff’s Office non-emergency number 505-428-3720 for assignment to a deputy. Civil Standby requests that will take longer than 15 minutes require an Order from the Court.

Paperwork received after 3:30 pm may not be processed until the following business day
