  • Ensures safe, suitable, and sanitary housing for families, seniors, and residents with disabilities

  • Added safety and quality improvements such as CO detectors, security cameras, solar lighting, landscaping, and outdoor exercise equipment
Camino Torcido Loop
  • Constructs a new drainage structure to improve stormwater flow within the Camino Torcido Loop area
  • Final design underway, with potential additional drainage work at adjacent properties
  • Construction expected Summer 2026–Spring 2027, including excavation and installation by certified contractors and engineers
Eldorado Road Improvements
  • Plans, designs, and improves roads and multi-use trails within the Eldorado subdivision
  • Enhances safety and connectivity for pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists
  • Developed in coordination with the Eldorado Community Improvement Association (ECIA)
Glorieta Village Collection System
  • Replaces and rehabilitates aging 1960s sewer pipes and manholes throughout Glorieta Village
  • Addresses deteriorated infrastructure, inadequate pipeline slopes, and failing junctions
  • Funds design, construction, and installation of an improved sewer collection system
Hondo Bulk Water Station Construction
  • Develops a new bulk water facility including land acquisition, environmental studies, design, and construction
  • Enhances regional water access for agricultural, emergency, and community needs
  • Improves long-term water distribution capacity and resilience for Santa Fe County
Hondo Fire Station #80
  • Designs and constructs a 655 sq. ft. addition with new bedrooms, storage, and expanded classroom space
  • Remodels restrooms to include ADA-compliant showers and updates dayroom, kitchen, and support areas
  • Converts and upgrades existing spaces to improve functionality, including office, laundry, IT, and equipment storage
Nueva Acequia Multi-Family Development Infrastructure
  • Builds key infrastructure for the Nueva Acequia development, including road improvements, solar arrays, and on-site greywater filtration
  • Coordinates with architects and engineers to refine cost estimates for each infrastructure component
  • Provides funding to close project gaps and support green features and resident-focused enhancements
Ojo de la Vaca Road
  • Designs and constructs an all-weather crossing at Galisteo Creek to ensure year-round access for residents
  • Improves drainage and paves the upper section of Ojo de la Vaca Road from the end of existing pavement to Rancho Romero
  • Enhances safety and reliability by preventing erosion-related closures; engineering procurement is currently underway
Romero Park Phase III Improvements
  • Builds a new multi-use field for youth soccer, youth football, and adult flag football
  • Adds a synthetic-surface baseball/softball field for year-round, low-maintenance recreation
  • Expands pickleball courts and develops additional amenities as space and funding allow

Santa Cruz Upgrades
  • Replaces deteriorated sewer pipes and corrects inadequate pipeline slopes
  • Improves reliability of the sewer collection system through targeted rehabilitation
  • Enhances long-term infrastructure performance for residents in the Santa Cruz community
Tesuque Welcome Signs
  • Installs new welcome signs at key entrances identified in the Tesuque Roads Safety Study
  • Includes placement along CR73, CR590, and north CR591 in newly built median islands
  • Enhances community identity and improves roadway aesthetics at major access points
Turquoise Trail Extension
  • Constructs a multi-use trail extension along NM14 from Rancho Viejo Blvd to the NMRX–NM599 Station
  • Improves pedestrian and bicycle connectivity using NMDOT and Fire Place Road right-of-way
  • Enhances regional access to transit, recreation, and multimodal transportation options

Valle Vista Upgrades
  • Improves housing quality with new stucco, ADA showers, plumbing repairs, updated appliances, cabinets, and windows
  • Enhances safety through carbon monoxide detectors, electrical meter upgrades, solar lighting, and security cameras
  • Includes site improvements such as sidewalk and curb repairs, landscaping, maintenance shop upgrades, and rehabilitation of the community park
Waterline Extensions
  • Evaluates feasibility and requirements for extending County water infrastructure to underserved areas
  • Assesses service options for individual homes, small clusters, and neighborhoods not currently connected
  • Reviews potential alignments, capacity needs, and design considerations in line with County standards
Youth Behavioral Health Center
  • Plans a dedicated Youth Behavioral Health Center in Santa Fe County in response to rising youth mental health needs
  • Co-locates key services such as suicide prevention, therapy, case management, MRSS, grief and family counseling, and psychiatry
  • Builds a coordinated network of care through partnerships with state agencies and private sector providers
