Sometime between 5/16/14 after 8:00PM to 5/17/14 at 10:00AM someone entered the victim's unlocked vehicle and rummaged through the glove box.  Nothing was found to be missing from the vehicle.

Victim reported to Deputy that sometime bewteen May 8, 2014 and May 16, 2014 unknown persons forced entry into the home and stole the listed items. Case is under investigation.


0214007406 / Negligent use of a firearm / 5-16-2014

Arrested: Phillip Tenorio     Age: 39     Edgewood,NM

Above subject was observed by Deputy discharging a firearm near structures and walking individuals. The subject was also found to have been consuming alcoholic beverages during the time of incident. Subject was arrested and taken to jail.

Arrested: Julia Berry     Age: 63      Santa Fe,NM

Deputies responded to location in reference to a single vehicle crash. Upon contact with the driver, she displayed signs of impairment. Driver submitted to sobriety tests where she was arrested and submitted to chemical testing. Driver was booked into jail.

Vehicle:  Black, 2002, Mitsubishi, 2 door

Suspect:  Isiaac F. Cortez, 28, Espanola, NM

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Speeding (64/35), Display of Registration

On Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 12:59 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location at 64 miles per hour in a posted 35 mile per hour zone.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and refused to submit to a Breathalyzer Test.  The vehicle's registration expired August 2008.

Location: 1500 block of Highway 14, Sandia Peak, NM (Golden Area)

Stolen: 2004 Kia Sorento Green in Color  Estimated Value: $4,400.00

 

Victim reports the above vehicle was taken from the above address.  The vehicle was taken sometime around 8:30 pm.  Case still pending further investigation.

On Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 1:08 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location with its emergency flashers activated.  A welfare check was conducted and it was learned that the suspect's New Mexico Driver's License is revoked with the Arrest Clause attached.  The vehicle was seized pursuant to Santa Fe County Ordinance 2006-5.

Vehicle:  Blue, 2007, Chevy, Pick-up

Suspect:  Juan M. Soliz-Gutierrez, 32, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit:  Cocaine, Driving While License

                 Revoked, Headlamps Required, Open Container

On Friday, May 16, 2014 at 9:00 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle westbound at the location without lighted headlamps.  The suspect's New Mexico Driver's License is revoked with the Arrest Clause attached if he is not operatring a vehicle equipped with an ignition inter lock.  The vehicle was not so equipped.  The suspect was found to be in possession of two open bottles of vodka and two open cans of beer.  The suspect was also found to be in possession of a white powdery substance suspected of being cocaine.  The vehicle was not seized pursuant to Santa Fe County Ordinance 2006-5 as this incident happended within the city limits of Santa Fe.

Suspect; Gabriel Vargas  Age: 26 Santa Fe

Gabriel vargas was charged with Bringing Contraband into Places of Imprisonment when he was found to have smuggled in Suboxone inside of his body.  He was booked accordingly.
