Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a suspicious vehicle in the area. It was discovered that two vehicle's had been broken into through unsecured doors of a silver in color Honda Civic, and white in color Dodge Pickup. Stolen was the above items. Case still pending further investigation.

On 6/12/13 deputy responded to above location in reference to an Identity Theft. Victim stated that he received a letter from the IRS advising that an unknown person had been using his name and social security number while working at a refining business. Vicctim stated that he has never worked for the business. Victim stated that the IRS advised him that he owed them money. Case is under investigation.

Location: residence off of Boneyard Road, Espanola, NM (Arroyo Seco)
On 6/12/13 deputy responded to above location in reference to an attempted burglary. Victim stated that on 6/11/13 between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. unknown persons attempted to gain entry into 2 residences on the above stated property. Damage was to the door jam, a screen, and the door frame. Estimated damage amount to both residences is about $330.00. Entry was not made into the residences.

Suspect: Eugene Chacon Age: 29 Espanola
During a cell search, inmate Eugene Chacon intentionally battered a detention officer by striking the officer in the mouth with the back of his head. A syringe was located on the inmate and he was charged with Battery upon a Peace Officer and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Victim reported that sometime between 6/3/13 and 6/4/2013 some unknown subjects unlawfully entered his business lot and stole the above listed items. The vehicles were secured in a fenced storage area, which was entered by unknown means.
The above listed stolen items were valued at about $11000.00

Arrested: Andrew Pena, 26-year-old male from espanola N.M.
On 06-11-13 at about 8:45PM contact was made with the above defendant who was operating a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am in the parking lot of the Pojoaque Baseball Fields. The defendant displayed signs of intoxication and a DWI investigation was conducted. The defendand was subsequently arrested and submitted to a breath test, which showed his breath alcohol concentration to be over twice the legal limit. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Location: 2200 block of Henry Lynch Road, Santa Fe, NM (off of Agua Fria)
On 6/11/13 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary. Victim stated that between 4/25/13 and 5/31/13, unknown suspect stole copper scrap metal, a weed eater, 2 rakes, a lawn mower battery, 2 car batteries, and 2 gas cards. Victim stated unknown suspects used both gas cards. Estimated value of items taken and charged are $6,195.53.
