Victim reported that on July 14, 2010 she had hired a house sitter to watch her residence. She was contacted by the house sitter and advised that she had invited some friends to the residence and later discovered some property missing. Victim advised that she delayed contacting law enforcement in hopes the house sitters friends would return the stolen property. Taken were two I-Pods, $100.00 cash and two gift cards totaling an estimated value of $600.00.

Sometime between July 15, 2010 and July 17, 2010 an unknown person took $8,200.00 from a residence at the above location. Victim suspects that a person hired to do some work at the residence took the money as there were no signs of force entry to the residence and nothing else in the residence was disturbed. Between 3:00 PM on 7-17-2010 and 1:00 AM on 7-18-2010 person(s) unknown, utilizing unknown means gained entry to a residence at the location by breaking a window on the rear door. Once entry was gained, person(s) unknown removed two plasma, flat screen TVs, miscellaneous pieces of jewelry and approximately forty bottles of various brands of liquor. Estimated value of the property taken is $2,500.00.

On 7-17-2010 at 9:23 PM the suspect and victim were involved in a verbal altercation at a residence at the location. The altercation turned physical when the suspect struck the victim in the face with an open hand and in the chest with a closed fist.

On 7-17-2010 at 12:51 PM the victim was operating the vehicle west at the location attempting to negotiate a left curve. The victim entered the curve at an excessive rate of speed and lost control of the vehicle, laying it down on its right side. The victim then struck a guardrail support post with her head. The victim was pronounced deat at the scene. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor. The victim was wearing a helmet. Next of kin has been notified.
