Vehicle was observed traveling at a high rate of speed on Airport Road, heading east. Vehicle was locked on radar at 56 miles per hour in a posted 40 miles per hour zone. Upon making contact with the above-named driver, an odor of intoxicating liquor was detected. The driver's eyes were bloodshot and watery and his speech was slurred. The driver submitted to the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and was placed under arrest. The driver agreed to submit to a breath test and his results were a .18/ .17 BrAC. The driver was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Deputies responded to a burglary in progress at the above location, in which the victim returned home to seeing forced entry at her back door and hearing a noise inside. Deputies arrived and cleared the residence without locating any suspects. Several electronics were found to be missing from inside the house. No suspects or witnesses are known at this time.

On the above date, officer responded to an un responsive five month old infant. Medical personel attempted to revie the infant without success. The infant was transported to St. Vincent's Hospital for further treatment, which did not prevent his death. The infant had several medical issues. Investigators arrived on scene and took over the investigation as well as the office of the medical investigator. Preliminary examination by the OMI did not reveal any signs of trauma to the infant. As of making this entry, the cause of death is unknown.

Deputies responded to a domestic dispute at above location. Upon Officers arrival, they found the above named suspect was getting held down by several family members inside the residence. The investigation revealed that the male was intoxicated and began to batter family members and swing a child in a carrier around while fighting with family. The suspect also forcibly removed a telephone from a person attempting to call for help. The subject was booked accordingly on said charges. The child was not injured.

On the above date, the above named Defendant was stopped on Airport Rd. Driver had an odor of alcohol upon his person and failed field sobrity test. Driver was was given a breath test his showed a BrAC .21 and .19. Suspect had a suspended driver's license and an open container of Budwieser beer between the seats. He was transported and booked accordingly at the Santa Fe County Dentention Center.

On the above date the victim reported that someone kicked in the front door to his residence while his thirteen year old daughter was in the residence. She went and hid in the bedroom closet and stayed in there until her uncle arrived . Taken from the residence was a 40 inch flat screen TV and $10,000 dollars worth of jewelry. There are no suspects at this time.

Charged: Aggravated Battery against a household member with a deadly weapon (2 counts)
On 8/7/08, Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at the above location. Victim stated that her husband arrived home intoxicated. Victim stated that suspect then threatened her with a socket wrench handle and held it to her neck. She also stated that suspect pulled out possibly a cutting weapon and held it to her stomach. Suspect fled the area and was later found in the field off of Airport Road. The green utility knife was found to be in suspect's pocket. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

On 8/6/08 Suspect while operating his truck southbound on the northbound shoulder of the on-ramp to I-25 did attempt to turn left onto SR 599. Suspect displayed signs of impairment. Suspect admitted to drinking 3 beers about 1/2 hour prior to traffic stop. Suspect upon completion of SFST's displayed signs of impairment. Suspect submitted to a preliminary breath test, which was positive for the presence of alcohol. Suspect was arrested and submitted to a breath test in which his BrAC were .08, .09. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
