On Monday, November 14, 2016, at approximately 11:06pm, a correctional officer was punched in the face by the suspect. Suspect was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. No one received any life-threatening injuries as a result of this incident.

Victim reported a male individual asked to use his telephone inside his residence. Upon leaving the residence, the male suspect stole his car keys that were hanging on the dead bolt to the front door and stole the above mentioned vehicle. NMSP recovered the vehicle on State Road 503. Case is still active.

Location-Plaza Del Cerro, Chimayo , NM
Deputies responded to above location in reference to an ambulance assistance call. A 95 year old male was unconscious, not breathing, and CPR was in progress. Medic personnel arrived on scene and attempted to revive the male individual, but were unsuccessful. During the investigation, there were no signs of foul play.

Location: Sobriety Checkpoint – Old Las Vegas Highway
Suspect: Antonio Baca – 34 - Santa Fe, NM
Charges: Child Endangerment – DWI (2ndOffense) – Driving on a Revoked License
The suspect was contacted as he drove through a sobriety checkpoint that was being conducted on Old Las Vegas Highway. The suspect admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages and showed signs of impairment during the Standardized Field Sobriety Testing. An Intoxilyzer Test was administered with the results being .12. A 14 year old minor child was in the vehicle with the suspect while he was driving which led to him being charged with child endangerment. Due to the suspect driving on a revoked license, and being charged with a 2ndDWI, the suspect’s vehicle was seized as per Santa Fe County Ordinance. The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility

On Friday, November 11, 2016 at approximately 11:14pm, Deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. During an argument the suspect battered the victim with a knife, causing a laceration. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Victim did not receive any life-threatening injuries as a result of this incident.
