Charges: DWI, Roadways Laned for Traffic

On Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 8:57pm, Deputy observed vehicle failing to maintain it's lane of travel. A traffic stop was cunducted and contact was made with the driver, who is the suspect. Suspect displayed signs of impairment due to some kind of drug. The Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and the suspect was placed under arrest for DWI. The suspect was read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory and she agreed to submit to chemical testing. Suspect was taken to the Christus St. Vincent Hospital for a blood draw. Suspect was then transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Arrested: Justin Daniels      Age:32         Santa Fe,NM

Deputies were dispatched to the jail in reference to a battery. Upon arrival, It was determined that an inmate battered a corrections officer. The inmate admitted to the crime and was re-booked on the listed charges.

Deputy was dispatched to location in reference to a burglary in progress. Upon arrival,deputies were informed of the incident. Investigations was notified as case is under investigation.

Above listed person had three active bench warrants for failing to pay fines and failure to appear in court.  Subject was arrested and booked accordingly.

Case#: 0216001087/ Residential Burglary, Larceny/ 01-22-2016

Location: Willow Road, Edgewood, NM (Edgewood Area)

Stolen: MP 40 cal. handgun, S&W .38 cal, 44 Mag, 12 ga Mosseburg Shotgun, Ka-Bar knife, piggy bank with various US coins, and Champion generator  total estimated value: $2370.00

Victim reports unknown person(s) gained unlawful entry into the above residence.  Entry was made between the hours of 7:00 am and 12:45 pm on Januray 22, 2016.  Entry was gained through an unsecured rear door.  Once inside the above items were taken.  A cable was cut to take the generator.  Estimate value: $ 20.00.  Case still pending further investigation.

Arrested: Amber Gallegos       Age: 23        Belen, NM

Deputies were dispatched to location in reference to a single vehicle crash. Upon arrival, the driver of the vehicle showed signs of impairment. The driver submitted to sobriety testing and impairment was observed. The driver was arrested and submitted to chemical testing with the results being .21, .23. The driver was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Arrested: Christopher Lucero   Age: 32    Albuquerque,NM

Deputies were dispatched to location in reference to a report of a reckless driver operating a Maroon SUV. The vehicle was located and the driving habits were observed. The vehicle was stopped after a traffic infraction and contact was made with the driver. The driver showed signs of impairment and submitted to sobriety testing. The driver was arrested and refused to chemical testing. The driver also had an active warrant and his vehicle was seized in accordance with Santa Fe County Ordinance.

Arrested: Ponce Lujan      Age: 53        Pojoaque,NM   SantaFe

Deputies were dispatched to location in reference to a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival contact was made with the driver at the hospital. The suspect admitted to drinking prior to crashing the vehicle. The driver refused to submit to Sobriety testing and Chemical Testing. The driver was arrested and taken to jail.

Arrested: Ernie Rodriguez Jr.  30 yoa, Espanola, NM

Deputy conducted a traffic stop on above subject for failure to stop at a stop sign.  During the traffic stop, the above subject concealed his true identity.  Deputy learned the above subject had an active warrant and a suspended driver license.  In addition, drug paraphernailia was found inside the vehicle.  Subject was arrested and booked without incident.
