On 03-19-16 a 6-year-old girl disclosed to her mother she had been touched in her private area by her 16-year-old male cousin. An investigation was conducted and the 16-year-old male was placed under arrest on the above charge.

Deputies responded to the above location in regards to a burglary. The victim reported an unknown person entered the residence by kicking in a door. The victim reported the only items missing were the firearms. No suspects have been identified and case is still under investigation.

Santa Fe County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the intersection of Avenida Del Sur and Richards Avenue in reference to a reported burglary of a motor vehicle. Contact was made with the victim who reported suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the victims vehicle and took the victims electronics and credit cards from within the vehicle. This case remains under investigation.
