Deputies responded to a residence on Camino Chupadero in regards to a residential burglary.  The victim reported an unknown person enter the residence through an open window, while inside the suspect took an udisclosed amount of currency from the residence. Case is under investigation and a suspect has not been identified.

The victim reported that a purse, credit cards, a drivers license and a cellular phone were stolen. This case is currently under investigation.

Location: 3000 block of West Alameda Santa Fe, NM 87507

Deputies responded to a call for service in regards to an attempted burglary. The victim(s) report at approximately 10:30pm last date he heard foot steps inside his home. The victim did not find it suspicious due to other occupants being in the home. On the next date, the victim reports that a screen was torn and removed from a window and the window was open. The victim found this to be suspicious and contacted law enforcement. Through investigation, nothing was found to be stolen. The damaged screen was valued at $40.00. This case is currently under further investigation

Location: Ramsey Road- Santa Fe County

Arrested: Maria Cubero, 22 years of age, Santa Cruz, NM 87532

Deputies responded to the above location in regards to a domestic disturbance. A verbal altercation ensued between the victim and the suspect.The altercation subsequently turned physical. Evidence at the scene suggests that the suspect was the primary aggressor in the altercation. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Location: 3000 block of Riverside Drive Santa Fe, New Mexico 87507

Deputies responded to the above location in refrence to a hit and run motor vehicle crash. Upon investigation, it was determined that two juveniles (Under the age of 18) were at the location when a family member arrived and accused them of stealing his stuff. The family member became upset, got behind the wheel of his vehicle and attempted to use his vehicle as a weapon and drive towards the juvenile in an aggressive manner. One juvenile got out of the way and the family member turned the vehicle around and drove towards the other juvenile striking the juvenile with his vehicle while he was on his bike. One juvenile did not sustain any injuries and the other sustained a minor injuries to his right wrist. Evidence on the scene was constistent with the accounts given by the juveniles. This case is currently under investigation.

Location: 100 Block of Sierra Azul, Santa Fe, NM 87507 (SR 599 area)

Victim reports that on August 7, 2015 he received a call from an individual claiming to be his grandson asking to bail him out of jail.  Victim states he recieved another call from a person saying they were a Police Officer in Denver and instructing him to get gift cards to get the grandson released from jail.  The victim did as instructed and bought 8 gift cards with the amount of $500.00 on each card (totaling $4,000.00).  The victim then provided the card numbers and later found out that his grandson had not been incarcerated in Denver.  The money credited to the gift cards had already been transferred into another account.  Case still pending further investigation.

Location: 30 Buffalo Thunder Trail, Santa Fe, NM (Hilton Hotel at Buffalo Thunder)

Arrested: Raymond Maldonado 54 yoa male, Los Lunas NM

Charges: Battery against a household member

Victim reports that at the above location the above suspect got into a verbal argument.  The verbal argument then turned physical.  Victim was struck in the face with a closed fist.  Victim sustained minor injuries and was treated on scene.  Suspect was arrested and booked accordingly without further incident.
