On Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 8:37pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a theft from a motor vehicle. During the day an unknown suspect removed a wallet belonging to the victim by reaching in through an open window to the victim's vehicle. The wallet contained cash, a driver's license, and credit cards. Ivestigation is ongoing.

During a routine search, Detention Officer Brandon Valdez was found in possession of marijuana, Suboxone and Xanax pills when he entered the facility. He was charged and booked accordingly.

Victim reports that at the above location sometime between 7am and 12:30pm unknown persons gained unlawful forced entry. Entry was made by kicking in a rear west facing door. Total estimated value of damage to door was valued at $500.00. Once inside the above items were taken. Case still pending further investigation.

On Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 12:10am, Deputy responded to location in reference to an inmate who had battered one of the jail guards. While jail staff were moving the suspect from one cell to another, suspect kicked one of the corrections officers. Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. Victim did not receive any life threatening injuries as a result of this incident.

Deputy conducted a traffic stop with above subject for speeding. During the traffic stop, the above subject admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages. SFST's were administered and the subject displayed signs of impairment. In addition, the subject had a revoked driver license. The above subject was arrested and provided a breath sample of .12/.12. Subject booked into Santa Fe Adult Detention Center without incident.
