On Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 2:49 PM, Deputy responded to location in reference to a residential burglary. An unknown suspect(s) entered the residence and removed firearms, jewelry, knives, and cash from the residence. Investigation is ongoing.

Charges: Receiving or Transfering Stolen Vehicles or Motor Vehicle
On Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 2:41 PM, Deputy responded to location in reference to an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle turned out to be a stolen motor vehicle out of a different agency. The vehicle was towed from the scene and the victim was notified. The investigation is ongoing.

Charges: Attempt to Commit a Felony, to wit: Burglary (Residential)
On Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 7:26 PM, Deputy responded to location in reference to an attempted residential burglary. An unknown suspect(s) tried to force entry into the residence by prying open one of the windows. Damage was caused to a window, but entry was not gained.

Location: 900 block of Old Las Vegas Highway Santa Fe, New Mexico 87507
Arrested: James Simpson, 54 years of age, Santa Fe, NM 87507
Deputies responded to the above location in regards to an unidentified caller reporting a domestic disturbance between a male and a female. Deputies located the couple at the scene and conducted an investigation. It was determined that a verbal altercation ensued between the two and the suspect demanded the victim leave their tent, the suspect forcefully pulled the victim by the neck/throat out of the tent. Evidence at the scene was consistent with the victim's allegations and statement. The suspect was arrested and booked on the above stated charge.

Arrested: Griselda Baez-Santos, 41 years of age, Santa Fe, NM 87507
Deputies responded to the above location on today's date in reference to a domestic dispute. It was learned through investigation that the arguement turned physical between the suspect and the victim. It was determined that the suspect was the primary aggressor in the matter. The suspect was arrested and booked accordingly without incident.

Santa Fe Sheriff's Deputies responded to an address on Piute Road in reference to a reported Fraud. Contact was made with the victim who stated that suspects(s) obtained the victims blank checks. Suspect(s) then forged signatures on the checks and cashed the checks. This case remains under investigation.

Santa Fe Sheriff's Deputies responded to a reported burglary of a motor vehicle that was parked near Riverside Mobile Home Park and Wolf Creek. Contact was made with the victim who stated suspects gained unlawful entry into the victims RV and took vehicle parts and kitchen type items. This case remains under investigation.

Santa Fe Sheriff Deputies responded to an address on Ojo De La Vaca Road in reference to a reported burglary. Contact was made with the victim who stated that on todays date between 11:00 a.m. and 4:20 p.m. suspect(s) gained unlawful entry into the victims home and a took a firearm from within the home. The scene was processed for evidence. This case remains under investigation.

On Monday, June 15, 2015 at 5:51 PM, Deputy responded to location in reference to a residential burglary. An unknown suspect(s) entered the residence and removed prescription medication from the residence. There were no signs of forced entry. Investigation is ongoing.
Case #0215009062 Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle 06-16-15

Location: Charlie Bentley Road (Santa Fe)
Arrested: Abdias Flores 32 yoa male (Santa Fe)
Deputies responded to a report of a stolen motor vehicle. Investigation revealed the victim suspected Mr. Flores of taking their vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle in the area of the suspects residence and the suspect failed to stop the vehicle. The vehicle failed to yield for a short time when the suspect exited the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot. Deputies quickly apprehended the suspect. The suspect was arrested and booked without further incident.
