On 12/25/13 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary. Victim stated that between 12/24/13 at 2:00 p.m. and 12/25/13 at 4:00 p.m. unknown persons gained entry into her residence by damaging the sliding chain lock. Victim stated that unknown persons opened up some of the presents and stole a tablet. Victim stated that unknown persons rummaged through the residence. Estimated value of items taken is $160.00. Estimated damage amount is $5.00.

Location:  St. Francis Drive & West Alameda, Santa Fe, NM

On 12/24/13 at 5:06 p.m. deputy was dispatched to US 84/285 mm 175 in reference to an aggravated assault.  Victim stated that while they were traveling towards US 84/285 a male subject in a silver in color Jeep showed a badge and pointed a gun at them.  Victim stated that they have had prior incidents with the suspect.  Case is still under investigation.

Stolen: 8 Silver Bracelets and 22 inch Toshiba LCD TV Total Estimated Value: $700.00

Victim reports at the above location unknown persons gained unlawful entry through an unlocked door sometime between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.  Once inside the above listed items were taken from within.  Case still pending further investigation.

Arrested: Daniel Garcia 27 yoa male, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: DUI, Drivers must be licensed, Bringing Contraband into a place of imprisonment, and Possession of Controlled Substance

Deputies received a Drunk Busters tip in reference to an impaired driver who pulled into the above location.  A Ford Explore Turquoise in color was located in the parking lot with the above driver passed out in the drivers compartment.  Driver displayed signs of impairment when SFST's were performed.  Above was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center where he was found with a black tar substance and numerous pills hidden on his persons.  Above was booked accordingly on the above charges.

Arrested: Antonio Lopez III - age 37, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies responded to the above location regarding a domestic altercation. The investigation concluded that the above suspect punched his wife on the face. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the Adult Detention Center.

The above driver was stopped for speeding and found to have a revoked driver's license. He was placed under arrest and booked accordingly.


Case #0213019785 - Agg. Battery Against a Household Member - 12/22/13

Location: Calle Maria Luisa - F.O.P. Santa Fe, NM

Warrant: Randy Lucero - age 49 - Santa Fe, NM

Deputies responded to the above location regarding a domestic altercation. The investigation concluded that Mr. Randy Lucero struck his girlfriend on the head with a bottle, causing lacerations. She was transported to St. Vincent's Hospital for treatment and Mr. Lucero fled the area. An arrest warrant was obtained for Mr. Lucero.

Charged:  Fugitive from Justice & warrant out of State of Texas for Aggregate Theft by Check

On 12/22/13 deputy conducted a traffic stop on a silver in color Jeep on Airport Road in which driver could not maintain his lane of travel.  A driver's license inquiry was conducted on the driver/suspect in which it was learned that he had a warrant out of Montgomery County in the State of Texas for Aggregate Theft by Check.  Suspect was arrested and charged with Fugitive from Justice and served the warrant.  Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

On 12/22/13 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between 12/1/13 at 9:30 a.m. and 12/22/13 at 3:15 p.m. unknown persons gained entry into his garage.  Victim stated that unknown persons damaged his garage door.  Victim stated that unknown persons stole 20 rifles and a chainsaw.  Estimated value of items taken is $20,800.00.  Estimated damage amount is $500.00.

Arrested: Armando Varela - age 36, Glorieta, NM

The above driver was stopped for failure to stop at a stop sign. Upon contact with the driver, he exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest for DUI.  He submitted to a breath test and the result was .15 BrAC. The driver was booked into ADC accordingly.
