On Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 10:45 PM the suspect and vicitm were involved in a verbal altercation at a residence at the location. The altercation turned physical when the suspect grabbed the victim by her face and pushed her head against a wall. The suspect also damaged thr front door to the residence. The victim sustained minor injuries and declined medical attention.

On Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 8:11 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel. The suspect was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and refused to submit to a Chemical Test. The suspect's New Mexico Driver's License is suspended. The suspect was found to be in possession of two orange in color strips suspected of being suboxne.

On Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 10:00 PM the suspect was visiting relatives at a residence at the location. The suspect entered the victim's bedroom and removed $922.00 in US Currency from his wallet. The suspect was confronted by the victim's wife and $377.00 in US Curerency was recovered from the suspect leaving $545.00 in US Currenvy unaccounted for. A check with the National Crime Information Center revealed two valid Arrest Warrants issued by the Santa Fe COunty Magistrate Court.

Deputy observed a vehicle commiting a traffic violation and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The vehicle fled from the Deputy at a high rate of speed and for the safety of others the Deputy discontinued the attempt. Deputies were informed of a possible location for the driver and upon arriving at the address, the driver of the vehicle fled on foot. The listed suspect was caught after a brief foot chase and was found to have several active warrants.
