On 4/24/13 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to an auto burglary. Victim stated sometime between 9:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. an unknown suspect(s) opened the unlocked door to her vehicle and took her purse. Victim stated that inside her purse was $65.00, a driver's license, a WIC card, a Food Stamps card, and a social security card. Estimated value of the items taken is $310.00. There was no damage to the vehicle.

Charges: Aggravated D.W.I., and Resisting or Obstructing an Officer
On 04-23-13 the above individual was placed stopped for suspicious activity. While attempting to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle the driver failed to bring his vehicle to a stop and made several turns prior to being stopped by Deputies. Signs of impairment were observed upon making contact with the driver. The driver was taken into custody and refused chemical testing as required by the Implied Consent Act. The driver was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Arrested: Charles Montoya, 36-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.
On 04-21-13 at about 2:30AM Mr. Montoya was involved in an altercation with a family member at his residence. Me. Montoya battered the family member who attempted to call 911. Mr. Montoya grabbed the telephone from the family member preventing them from speaking with the 911 operator. Deputies were dispatched to the residence for the 911 call, conducted an investigation and placed Mr. Montoya under arrest.

On 04-21-13 the above individual was placed under arrest after he remained at the above location after being told to leave the property. While conducting a search incident to arrest, the male subject was found to be in possession of a silver spoon, hypodermic needle, elastic band, and a package of small white cotton balls. The items are commonly used for injecting heroin into the body. The male subject did indicate he used the items for heroin. The male was booked into Santa Fe County ADC accordingly.
