On 8/16/13 deputy responded to above location in reference to an Identity Theft. Victim stated that he has received letters from different companies advising him that someone has been using his information to obtain credit cards and loans. Victim contacted the companies and advised them he was not submitting applications for the credit cards or loans. Victim said he lost his wallet about one year ago and his driver's license and social security card were in the wallet. It is unknown who obtained the information.

Victim reported that sometime between 8/17/13 7:30pm and 8/18/13 9:30am some unknown person gained access into his shed by damaging the hinges on the door. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
The damaged was estimated to be about $20.00

Victim reported his vehicle was burglarized on this date between 8/15/13 6:00pm and 8/16/13 1200 pm as his vehicle was parked at the above location. Unlawfully entry was gained by entering the unlocked vehicle, and stealing the above listed item.
The above listed items stolen were valued at about $300.00
Case # 0213012726 - Battery against a peace officer - 8/17/13

Arrested: John Angelo Lerouge - age 29, Santa Fe, NM
Deputies responded to the above location regarding an altercation between two brothers. The investigation concluded that the above suspect battered his brother, causing injury to his arm and face. The suspect was placed under arrest at the scene. Upon arrival to the Adult Detention Center, the above suspect struck the arresting deputy with his forehead. The suspect was charged with batter against a peace officer in addition to the initial charge of aggravated battery.
