Suspect:  16 year old male

On 12/18/12 deputy responded to above location in reference to an aggravated assault.  Victim advised that after stopping the suspect in his vehicle regarding a snowball fight in the parking lot of the school grounds, the suspect then revved the engine of his vehicle and hit the gas pedal striking the victim.  The victim is a security officer at the school.  JPO was contacted and authorized incarceration.  Victim complained of minor injuries.

Location:  business off of Avenida Vista Grande, Santa Fe, NM (Eldorado)

On 12/18/12 a male suspect went into the store and began looking around.  Clerk went to assist the male and asked if he needed anything.  Suspect then went towards the employee door and behind the counter.  Suspect then pulled out a revolver and pointed it at the clerk.  Suspect asked clerk where a specific medication was and if she told him he would not shoot her.  Clerk pointed to the location and ran out of the business and called 911.  Estimated value of the medication is $245.00.  Case under investigation.


0212019460/ Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle/ 12-18-12

Location: Los Coyotes- Edgewood, NM

Stolen: Blue 2003 Ford Ranger 

On 12-18-12 Deputy  Lujan was dispatched to Los Coyotes in regards to a stolen motor vehicle report. Deputy Lujan made contact with the victim, who stated the above vehicle was stolen from his residence between 12-14-12 at 9:00pm and 12-15-12 at 8:00am. The vehicle was entered into NCIC.


0212019399/ Breaking and Entering/ 12-17-12

Location: 4650 Airport Road- Casitas de Santa Fe MHP

On 12-17-12 Deputies responded to a Breaking and Entering at the above location. Upon arrival contact was made with the victim who stated two males damaged the front door to gain entry into the residence. The victim was home at the time and confronted the two males, who ran from the residence. Suspect information is pending.


0212019400/ Criminal Damage To Property/ 12-17-12

Location: NM 472 and Zambra Way- Santa Fe

On 12-17-12 the victim reported someone damaged her 1990 Jeep Cherokee. The vehicle was parked at the above location due to road conditions on 12-16-12. When the victim returned to the vehicle she observed the windows to be damaged. The estimated cost of the damage is $1,500.00.Suspect information is pending.

Location:  28 Camino Justicia, Santa Fe, NM (Santa Fe County Adult Detention Ctr.)

Suspect:  Guillermo Green-Rascon, age 26, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Bringing Contraband into a place of imprisonment

On 12/17/12 deputies responded to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center in reference to a narcotics violation.  Deputies were advised of a Sting Operation which was conducted on Correction Officers at the detention center.  The suspect who was a detention officer was found to be in possession of 15 strips of Suboxone in his wallet and was brought into the facility.  Suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Location:  2700 block of Aspen Loop, Santa Fe, NM (Cottonwood MHP)

On 12/17/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between the hours of 1100 and 1400 unknown suspects entered her residence by prying open the front door.  Victim stated that misc. jewelry was stolen from within.  Estimated value of items taken is $650.00.  Estimated damage amount is $500.00.

Location:  Airport Road & Center Drive, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect:  James Romero, age 53, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Driving on a revoked driver's license, Expired registration 

On 12/17/12 deputy was traveling west on Airport Road and observed a white Toyota Camry with an expired registration.  A traffic stop was conducted and the driver admitted to not having a driver's license.  A driver's license inquiry was performed in which the status was suspended/revoked with the arrest clause.  Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Location:  residence off of Rio En Medio, Santa Fe, NM (Chupadero area)

On 12/17/12 deputy was dispatched to above area in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between 12/3/12 and 12/16/12 unknown persons broke a back window to the residence and stole a table saw, a drill, and a sawzall.  Victim stated that he also noticed that the wires were cut to the breaker box.  Estimated value of items taken is $650.00.  Estimated damage amount is about $500.00.

Victim reports sometime between 8:00am and 4:30pm unknown person(s) attempted to gain unauthorized forced entry into the above location. Unknown suspect(s) attempted to pry a south facing door open with an unknown object.  The damage to the door was valued at $500.00.  Case still pending further investigation.
