Arrested: Erick Alecio-Pereira 38 yoa male, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Aggraveted DWI, Open container of alcoholic beverage, and Driving on roadways laned for traffic

Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a Black in color Nissan at the above location after observing the vehicle failing to maintain lane of travel.  Upon contact with the driver an odor of intoxicant was detected.  SFST's were attempted but stopped for the driver's safety. Driver was then arrested and submitted to a breath test resulting .18/.18.  Above was booked accordingly on the above charges without further incident.

Suspect: Elda Terrazas            Age: 33       Santa Fe,NM

Suspect was stopped for a traffic violation at the listed intersection. Suspect was found to have an active warrant and was arrested. During the time suspect was being handcuffed, the suspect stated she had narcotics in her chest area and did not want to take the narcotics into jail. Suspect was taken to jail and charged with the narcotics violation, the warrant and was cited for the traffic violation.

Suspect: Lorenzo Gurule      Age: 31   Santa Fe,NM

Inmate was found by jail staff to be in possession of contraband while in his cell. Contraband was seized and inmate was re-booked and charged accordingly.

Suspect: Johnathan Sanchez        Age: 23      Tesuque,NM

Victim and suspect stated they had been involved in a physical fight over the suspect wanting to leave the home intoxicated. Victim sustained minor injuries during the altercation and suspect was arrested and taken to jail

Stolen: Various medication and jewelry

 Victim stated that between December 06 and December 07, 2013 unknown suspects gained unauthorized entry into the victims home. Once entry was gained the suspects took the aboce mentioned items. This case remains udner investigation.

Stolen: various jewelry,  US currency

Victim advised sometime between 9:00am on 12/07/13 and 3:45pm on 12/07/13 unknown suspects gained unlawful entry into the victims vehicle. Once entry was gained the suspects took the above listed items. This case remains under investigation.

Case#: 0213019057/Aggravated DWI, Open Container of Alcoholic Beverage, Careless Driving/Date: 12-8-2013

Location: Cerrillos Road/ Vegas Verde, Santa Fe, NM  (Cerrillos Road Area)

Arrested: Robert Chavez 24 yoa male, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs-Aggravated, Open Container of alcoholic beverage, and Careless Driving

Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a Silver in color Nissan for careless driving.  Upon contact with the driver he an odor of an intoxicant emitting from his breath.  SFST's were conducted where the driver displayed signs of impairment.  The above refused to submit to chemical testing or a breath test.  Upon inventory of the vehicle there was an open bottle of Hennessey located.  Driver was arrested and booked accordingly without further incident. 

Case#:0213019054/Driving While License is Revoked, Tail Lamps Required, No Registration/Date: 12-07-2013

Location: State Road 76 Mile Marker 4 (La Puebla Area)

Arrested: Michael Salazar 29 yoa male, Velarde New Mexico

Charges: Driving While License is Revoked, Tail Lamps Required, No Registration, No Insurance

Deputy conducted a traffic stop on White in color Ford F150 at the above location for the license plate light not illuminated.  Upon contact with the driver he indicated he didn't have registration or insurance on the vehicle.   A driver's license check was conducted which revealed the above driver had a revoked license with the arrest clause attached.  Driver was arrested and booked on the above charges.  The vehicle was seized under the Santa Fe County Ordinance 2005-6. 

0213019030, Auto Burglary, 12-07-2013

Location: 2400 block of Alamo Lane (Lopez Lane Area)

Stolen: Kenwood Amplifier, Sub woofer, Car Battery

Sometime between 8:30pm on December 6, 2013 and December 7, 2013 at 11:00am an unknown suspect gained entry into the above vehicle through an unlocked driver’s side door. Once inside the suspect took the above items. Suspect also cut the cables and took the vehicles interstate battery. No further suspect information at this time.

Arrested: Oscar Rodriguez - 21 years of age - Santa Fe, NM

The above driver was involved in a motor vehicle crash at about 3:10am on December 7, 2013. He exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest for DWI. He was booked into ADC accordingly.
