Suspect:  Joe Pena, age 59,  Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Battery against a household member, Bench warrant for Failure to comply with conditions of release with the Electronic Monitoring Program

On 12/3/13 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a medical call.  RECC stated that they could hear a struggle over the phone between a male and female.  Victim stated that the suspect got mad at her.  Victim stated that the suspect pulled her hair and also choked her.  Victim had injuries that were consistent with her statedment.  Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.  Suspect was also arrested on a warrant out of Electronic Monitoring for Failure to comply with conditions of release.

Location:  3900 block of San Felipe, Santa Fe, NM (off of Airport Road)

On 12/3/13 deputy responded to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between 12/2/13 at 5:00 p.m. and 12/3/13 at 12:40 p.m. unknown persons entered her property and stole several batteries from different vehicles.  Estimated value of the items taken is  $1,500.00.

Location:  residence off of North Paseo De Angel, Santa Fe, NM (La Cienega)

On 12/3/13 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between 11/30/13 and 12/3/13 unknown persons entered her residence and stole a refridgerator and a stove.  Victim stated that she noticed a window broken and the front door damaged.  Estimated value of the items taken is $2,000.00.  Estimated damage amount is $300.00.

Arrested: Tommy Lovato, age 22, Santa Fe NM

The above listed subject was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a residential burglary, Conspiracy to burglary and criminal damage to property charge. Subject was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

Stolen: Metal railroad bucket valued at $50.00

Soemtime between 5:00PM on December 1st and 6:00AM on December 2nd someone stole a collectable metal railroad bucket from a storage shed on his property.

Location:  Avenida del Sur & Richard's Avenue, Santa Fe, NM

On 12/2/13 deputy responded to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between 2:15pm and 3:15pm, an unidentified suspect forced entry into hisvehicle by breaking a window and stole a backpack containing several books and hiking shoes.  Estimated value of items taken is $290.00.  Estimated value of damage is $250.00.

Location: Paseo Los Pereas, Santa Fe, NM, 87508

Stolen: Identification

 Victim reported on October 08, 2013 between the hours of 8:00am and 12:00pm unknown suspects gained unauthorized entry into the vectims vichicle. Once entry was gained suspects took various forms of identification. Suspects have been using the victims identity for monetary gain. This case remains under investigation.

Stolen: Power tool

 Victim stated between December 01, 2013 at 6:30am and 6:20pm suspects gained unauthorized entry into his vehicle. Once entry was gained the suspects took a power tool, Victim reported that nothing else was taken or tampered with.

 Victim stated between November 29, 2013 at 12:00pm and November 30, 2013 at 10:00pm unknown suspects gained unauthorized forced entry into his home. Once entry was gained the suspect(s) took various house fixtures. This case remains under investigation.

Location: La Pueblo Road / El Sitio Road, Santa Fe, NM, 87506

 Victim advised that while stopped at the above listed location another driver became upset for unknown reason and stopped their vehicle in front of the victims vehicle. A suspect exited the vehicle and brandished a handgun at the victim. The suspect then fled the area. This case remains under investigation.
