Charged:  Battery Against a Household Member, Assault Against a Household Member

On Sunday, October 15, 2012 at 2:07 AM the suspect and victim were involved in a verbal altercation at the location.  The altercation turned physical when the suspect pushed open the door to the victim's room, striking her with it and causing her to fall backwards.

Victim reported to Deputy that for the past year he had entrusted the suspect with managing properties he owned in the Santa Fe area. He had been told that the properties had not been rented for the last year. It was recenlty discovered that the suspect has been keeping hte rent money. Case is under investigation.

Victim reported to Deputy that on this date between the hours of 1:00pm and 2:30pm, unknown persons gained entry into her vehicle and stole the listed items. Case is under investigation.


021201611 Burglary (auto)  10/13/12

Location:4641 Airport Rd(Airport Rdarea)Santa FeNM

Stolen: 2 ford F150 headlamps

On this date unknown subjects stole the two headlamps of the above repossessed vehicle from the above location. A red full size Dodge pick up truck was seen leaving the area at about the time of the incident. Witness saw what appeared to be two young male subjects tampering with the vehicle then attempt to hide when spotted.

The above listed items stolen were valued at about $200.00

Damaged: 2008 Chevy Tahoe rear window / 2004 Blk Ford Expedition rear window

Victim stated that on this date at about 3:00am the rear windows on his two above listed vehicles were damaged as well as a window on his residence. It appeared the windows were damaged by a pellet gun.

The damaged was estimated to be about $1500.00

Suspect:  Balam A. Zuniga-Cruz, 30, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI, Roadways Laned for Traffic

On Friday, October 12, 2012 at 11:04 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater.

Location:  Cerrillos Road at Herrera Drive, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle:  White, 2002, Cadillac, 4 door

Suspect:  Patty L. Gallegos, 55, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI, Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit:  Oxycodon, Possession of

                   a Controlled Substance, to wit:  Alprazolam, Possession of a Controlled

                   Substance, to wit:  Carisoprodal, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia,

                   Roadways Laned for Traffic, Mandatory Proof of Financial Responsibility

On Friday, October 12, 2012 at 9:18 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location and made an abrupt  left turn over a painted median.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of a controlled subsatnce.  The suspect submitted to a Blood Test and the results of that test are pending.  The suspect was found to be in possession of three different prescription medications and could not provide a prescription for either of them.  The suspect was found to be in possession of several cut straws, a metal grate and a glass vile which all contained a white in color residue.  The suspect was unable to provide proof of insurance upon request.

                        


0212016102 Burglary / Larceny / Criminal Damage 10/12/12

Location: Calle Don Tomas (El Rancho NM area)

Stolen: 42" Vizio Television, playstation 3, X-box 360

Arrested: Daniel & Jose Roybal, Ashley Roybal El Rancho NM

On the above date the above suspect along with two other subjects Daniel and Jose Roybal burglarized the above unattended residence and stole the above items. Forced entry was gained through the back door.

All three subjects were later apprehended, taken into custody. The suspect Ashley, and Daniel Roybal were booked into the adult detention center, while Jose Roybal was booked into the juvenile detention center.

The above listed stole item was valued at about $1150.00

Stolen: Diamond Rings

Victim reported that on 10-11-12 she place some earrings diamond earrings in her luggage bag inside her rented hotel room. Later in the evening when she went back for the earrings they were unable to be located. Victim suspects an unknown person went into her room and stole the earrings. Case is still under investigation.

The above property was valued at approximately $5,000.
