On Monday, November 12, 2012 at 7:07 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel. The suspect was found to be under the influence of a prescription medication and submitted to a Blood Test. The results of the Blood Test are pending.

Victim reports at the above location between the hours of 9:00am and 12:00pm unknown suspect(s) took the above items. Damage was also sustained on a 1996 Motorcycle and pieces of plywood. Victim then called back and reported that sometime between the hours of 4:00pm and 8:30pm suspect(s) returned, cutting the lock on the front door. Once inside trash was thrown around and a mirror was damaged. Total estimated value: $1,645.00. Case still pending further investigation.

Arrested: Sandra Arias, 30-year-old female from Espanola New Mexico
On 11-12-2012 at approximately 12:00AM a traffic stop was conducted on a white in color Honda Accord after it was observed driving over a curb while leaving the Cities of Gold Casino. Contact was made with the driver, Mrs. Arias who was showed signs of impairment. Further investigation revealed Mrs. Arias was driving under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested and Booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Location: Residence on Sycamore Loop, Cottonwood Village Mobile Home Park
Homeowner reported on November 10th between 9;30AM and 10:45PM someone threw a rock through a north facing window of the home shattering the window. The suspect entered the home and turned all the lights on but nothing was reported stolen. The window was valued at $200.00.

On 11/11/12 between 0730 and 1130 hours, unknown suspects kicked in the front double doors to the above address and stole a 72" TV, a laptop computer, misc. jewelry, and a black jewelry box. Victim stated that damage was caused to the cabinet door and a light switch in the livingroom. Estimated value of items taken is $23,105.00. Estimated damage amount is $270.00.

0212017593 Death Investigation 11/10/2012

On this date Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a death investigation. The victim (58 year old female) was found at the above location unresponsive and not breathing by a family member, there did not appear to any signs of foul play and death appears to be of natural causes. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

On 11/10/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a robbery that occurred. The clerk stated that a male suspect walked into the store and demanded money from the registers. The clerk handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of money from the registers. Suspect then fled on foot towards Agua Fria. The suspect did not brandish a weapon. Case is under investigation.

On 11/10/12 three inmates were seen huddled under a blanket. Inmates were separated and they advised they were reading a letter. Suspect was asked to provide the letter and provided a small piece of paper containing a small amount of a green leafy substance. The substance was field tested and tested positive for Marijuana. Suspect was then charged and rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Charged: Bringing Contraband into a Place of Imprisonment
On 11/9/12 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a narcotics violation. Deputy made contact with the reporting party who stated that the mail officer was checking the mail and opened mail belonging to the above suspect. Located in the mail were 2 orange strips of Suboxone and 8 strips of a black tar substance. The black tar subtance was field tested and tested positive for heroin. Suspect was charged and rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
