CHARGES: DWI, POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNIALA, MARIJUANA < 1 OUNCE, UNLAWFUL CARRYING OF A DEADLY WEAPON, STOP SIGN VIOLATION & ROADWAYS LANED FOR TRAFFIC
On this date andt above listed location Anthony Garcia was stopped after he failed to stop for a stop sign and failed to maintain his lane while making a left turn onto SR 14 from Valle Vista Blvd. Garcia displayed signs of impairment, bloodshot watery eyes, constricted pupils and dry cracked mouth. Garcia denied consuming any alcoholic beverages and illegal substances, but admitted to taking prescription medication for Anxiety, approximately two hours prior to the traffic stop. Garcia during the field sobriety tests and alternative sobriety tests displayed signs of impairment, at which time he was arrested and requested to submit to a legal blood draw. Garcia during the investigation was also found in possession of a glass smoking device and a green leafy substance. Garcia during the investigation was also found in possession of brass knuckles.

On 11/24/11 deputy was dispatched to above area in reference to a suicidal male. Deputies were advised that the suspect had called 911 stating he was involved in an argument with his mother and wanted to kill himself. A second call was made to 911 advising that it was the above suspect. Deputies contacted the suspect who stated that he was just in a bad mood and did not want to kill himself. Contact was made with suspect's mother who stated that there was no argument. Suspect was then placed under arrest for filing a false report.. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Location: residence off of San Pedro Way, Santa Fe, NM (Valle Vista Subdivision)
Suspect: Andres Garcia, age 19, Santa Fe, NM
Charged: Burglary, Larceny, Criminal Damage to Property
On 11/24/11 deputies were dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary. Victim stated that between 1100 and 1430 hours unknown persons broke into his residence through the back rear window with there being signs of forced entry. Unknown suspects damaged the door and the frame. Victim stated that once inside unknown persons took a HP laptop computer and a cellular phone. Shoe impressions were located around the residence. Deputy made contact with several neighbors and obtained a description of a male suspect. Suspect was identified and was wearing the shoes that made the shoe impressions at the victims residence. Suspect admitted to being at the back yard of the victim's property. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center. Estimated value of items taken is $775.00. Estimated damage amount is $650.00.

Location: residence off of Double Arrow Road, Santa Fe, NM (off of Old Santa Fe Trl)
On 11/23/11 deputy was dispatched to above address in reference to an activated alarm. Upon arrival at the residence I observed the front door open and located a broken rear window. Several rooms had been ransacked. Victim is out of town at this time and explained she will advise on what items were taken from the residence when she returns. Alarm came in at 11:43 am I arrived at 12:13 pm. Estimated damage amount is $200.00.

ON THIS DATE AT ABOVE LISTED LOCATION DEPUTY WAS SENT DUE TO A REPORTED FIGHT OR DOMESTIC IN PROGRESS. INVESTIGATION FOUND WHERE SUSPECT AND OTHERS WERE DRINKING AND BEING LOUD. SUSPECT WAS FOUND TO BE UNDER THE AGE OF 21 AND WAS INTOXICATED. SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED AND TRANSPORTED TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER AND BOOKED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGE.

ON THIS DATE DEPUTY CHECKED ON THE WELFARE OF SUSPECT AFTER IT WAS REPORTED HE WAS INTOXICATED. AFTER DEPUTY CAME INTO CONTACT WITH SUSPECT HE STARTED A DWI INVESTIGATION AND FOUND THE SUSPECT WAS IN FACT INTOXICATED AND HAD HIS 6 YEAR OLD SON IN THE VEHICLE. SUSPECT WAS FOUND TO HAVE THREE OTHER DWI ACTIONS ON HIS DRIVING HISTORY. SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED FOR FELONY DWI AND ABUSE OF A CHILD. SUSPECT SON WAS RELEASED TO HIS MOTHER. VEHICLE WAS IMPOUNDED. SUSPECT WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE ADULT DETENTION CENTER AND BOOKED ON ABOVE LISTED CHARGES.

Upon investigation the victims son was located on the property and in possession of narcotics, paraphernalia, and stolen items from his fathers residence. Suspect was taken into custody and booked into The Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
