Suspects  13 year old male     14 year old male     Santa Fe,NM

Victim reported to Deputies that suspects had gained entry into her home using force. Victim stated that the listed items were stolen from within her home. Victim stated she confronted the suspects after learning that they were involved. Deputies contacted the suspects who were arrested and taken to the Juvenile Detention Center. 


0212002934 DWI 2-25-12

Location: Interstate 25 mile marker 170

Arrested: Cynthia Eaton 60 years old

Deputies were dispatched to motor vehicle crash at the above stated location. Contact was made with the drivers of the vehicles. Driver displayed signs of impairment. SFST's were conducted and the driver was placed under arrest for DWI, Roadways laned for traffic, and no insurance. Driver was booked accordingly into Santa Fe County Jail


0212002985 Aggravated Battery 2-26-12

Location: Boylan Road (Agua Fria/ Maez Road Area)

Deputies were dispatched to the area in reference to a fight in progress. Upon arrival the investigation revealed a male subject was transported to the hospital after being hit in the head with a pipe and a rock. Male subject was checked and released at St. Vincent Hospital. Case is still under investigation.


0212002990 Burglary 2-26-12

Location: 7400 block of Brazos River Road (Riverside MHP)

Stolen: 47" flat screen tv, two 32" flat screen televisions, two DVD players, a Wii game system, a Nintendo DS, 200 DVD movies, and 15 Wii video games.

Victim reported that sometime between Friday 2-24-12 at 5:30 pm and Sunday 2-26-12 at 5:30pm unknown suspect(s) gained unauthorized entry into the residence and stole the above stated items. Entry was made through a rear door where the window of the door was broken. Case is still under investigation.

The above listed items were valued at about $4,000.00


0212002921, Aggravated DWI, 2/25/12

Location: US 84/285 milepost 168   Tesuque

Suspect: Jose Orellana-Flores  Age: 40   Nambe

Deputies located Orellano-Flores sitting in his pick-up truck with a flat tire along US 84/285. He showed signs of impairment and was arrested for DWI.  His B.A.C. was .16 or greater and was booked for Aggravated DWI.

Victim reported to Deputy that on this date between the hours of 8:30 a.m. amd 4:00 p.m. unknown persons forced entry into his home and stole the listed items. The case is under investigation.

Victim reported to Deputies when she applied for unemployment benifits through the State of New Mexico, she was refused citing that she was currently employed at a fast food restaurant in the Santa Fe area. Victim stated she had never worked at the location. The case is currently being investigated.

Location:  2 Glitter Gulch Way, Edgewood, NM

Suspect:  Robert Taylor, age 50, Edgewood, NM

Charged:  Battery on a household member, Criminal Damage to Property of a household member, Interference with communications

On 2/24/12 victim and suspect were involved in a verbal argument over finances.  Suspect pushed the victim and victim pushed the suspect back to try to gain distance.  Suspect then punched victim in the face. Victim then struck suspect with her cane in an attempt to get away.  Victim dialed 911 and suspect took cell phone away and threw it outside.  Victim attempted to call 911 on home phone but suspect took the phone away as well.  Suspect then took victim's cane and broke it.  Victim was able to obtain her walker and get away where she flagged down 2 off duty Bernalillo deputies.  Suspect went out to the back yard and threw the furniture and broke an outdoor night light.  Victim did have signs of injury.  Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Suspect:  Frank Gallegos, age 49, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Driving on a suspended/revoked driver's license, Careless Driving

On 2/25/12 deputy was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash at the above location.  Contact was made with the suspect who was found to be intoxicated.  Suspect showed signs of impairment during SFST's.  Suspect was arrested and was found to have his driver's license revoked with the arrest clause.  Suspect refused to submit to a breath test.  Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

Location:  residence off of Sierra del Sol, Santa Fe, NM (Eldorado)

On 2/24/12 deputy was dispatched to a burglary which occurred at the above location.  Victim stated that between the hours of 1300 and 1500 unknown persons took her purse from inside her vehicle.  Victim stated that her purse contained 2 checkbooks, a ATM debit card, Discover card, Chevron card, and a NM driver's license.  Estimated value of items taken is $170.00.  Victim stated that she left the driver's side door unlocked on her vehicle.
