On 08-30-12 a traffic stop was conducted on a white in color Mazda Protege, after it was learned the above wanted subject was seen in the vehicle. The above subject initially provided a false name and date of birth. The above subjects correct name was learned from a family member, who arrived on scene shortly after the traffic stop, The above subject was booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Faciliyt.

Victim reported that she lost her wallet sometime between 8:00 and 8:30am on 8-29-12. She later received a phone call from her credit card company that it had been used several times in the Espanola NM area for a total amount of $438.00. Other credit cards were reported missing but had not been reported with fraudulent activity. Case is still under investigation.

Suspect: Jim Gumpolen 61 yoa male, Santa Fe, NM
Deputy observed a Green in color Toyota 4 door speeding in the above location. Traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and the above suspect was observed driving the vehicle. Driver was found to be suspended/revoked with an arrest clause of 1-22G. Vehicle was also seized under the County Ordinance 2006-5. Driver was arrested and booked on the above charges.

On 8/27/12 deputy responded to above location in reference to a burglary. Victim stated that sometime between 1000 and 1920 hours an unidentified supect entered his residence through an unlocked window and stole the items from within. Victim stated that the suspects took 3 42" TVs, a laptop computer, a Blackberry cell phone, an LG cell phone, a bluray player, and a silver I-pod. Estimated value of items taken is $3350.00.
