Deputies came into contact with listed subject during a traffic stop. Subject was found to have an outstanding warrant, and was also listed on active probation. Subject was arrested and booked at ADC.
Case #2024004805/ Breaking and Entering, Battery on a Household member/ 9-12-24

Arrested- Luis Bonachea-Niwa (32 year old male/ Albuquerque)
Location- NM 344 (Edgewood NM)
SFSO deputies and Edgewood PD officers were dispatched to a residence on NM 344 in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon investigation it was learned that the arrested male had broken into his girlfriends house and committed a battery on her. He was placed under arrest and later booked at the Santa Fe ADC.

Arrested: Adriana Cruz, 25YOM, Santa Fe, NM
Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, it was learned the suspect had battered the victim, who was a household member. The suspect was arrested, transported, and booked accordingly without incident.

Stolen: $1,160.00
Deputies contacted the victim in reference to a fraud incident. The victim stated she contacted a subject on Facebook regarding a home she wanted to rent. The suspect asked her to pay the security deposit and other fees with Google Play cards. She later learned it was a scam.

Location: Ojo De La Vaca, Santa Fe, NM
Stolen: Two chainsaws and $100 cash (Total $1,600.00)
Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a larceny. Upon arrival it was disovered that a friend of the victim had unlawfully took the above items.

Location- Cerrillos/ Richards
Ms. Williams was contacted by deputies during a traffic stop and found to have an outstanding warrant. Ms. Williams was arrested and booked at the Santa Fe ADC.

Arrested- Jose A. Gonzalez (33 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Location- South Polo Drive (Santa Fe)
Jose Gonzalez called the SFSO to turn himself in for an outstanding warrant. Deputies arrived at his residence and Gonzalez was placed under arrest. He was taken to Santa Fe ADC where he was booked.

Arrested- Robert Benally (34 year old male/ Mentmore NM)
Location- Interstate 25 at milepost 274
Santa Fe Police stopped a vehicle after observing a vehicle failing to maintain its lane. The SFPD officer observed signs of impairment during contact with the driver. SFSO deputies arrived to assist SFPD with a DWI investigation. Following standardized field sobriety tests, the driver was placed under arrest and transported to the SFSO for chemical testing, and eventually booked at Santa Fe ADC.

Arrested- Joe Trujillo (44 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Deputies came into contact with Joe Trujillo after he committed an equipment violation while riding a bicycle. Mr. Trujillo was run for warrants and returned with a misdemeanor warrant that was confirmed. Trujillo was booked at the Santa Fe ADC on the warrant.

Location- NM 76/ NM 106 (Espanola)
A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle due to an MVD return stating the vehicle had no insurance. Upon contact with the driver, he was displaying signs of impairment. The driver refused to perform standardized field sobriety tests, and was placed under arrest. Following providing a breath sample at the SFSO the driver was booked at Santa Fe ADC.
